He has performed across Europe with a number of acts including Iona Fyfe, Daniel Martinez Flamenco, Sketch, and his duo with Sam Mabbett (The Canny Band, Northern Company). More locally, he has played for countless weddings and events, with numerous ceilidh and function bands, such as Bahookie, the Sultans of Fling, and the Ship Band. Dylan has seen some success with competitions, winning the Musician of the Festival at Cwlwm Celtaidd, and, with Sam Mabbett, Concour des Petit Formations at Le Rencontre Internationales de Luthier et Maître Sonneurs (now Le Son Continu) and New Roots.

‘Melodic Wonder’

- Graham Rorie (Gnoss)

In 2021, Dylan, along with Neil Wood, co-founded the Folks' Music Project Cic which aims to provide low-cost traditional music education to children and adults in the greater Glasgow area, providing instruments to participants through partnerships with Music Broth Cic and Nifty Harps Cic. The project has been running classes in Neilston (fully funded by Neilston Windfarm Legacy) and the south-side of Glasgow since September 2021.

Dylan plays fiddles by Tim Phillips, guitars by Andy Cairns, and a hurdy-gurdy by Philippe Mousnier.
